"Coat Hangers"
This week has seen "new lows" in American politics. Todd Akin, Steve King, Paul Ryan and the scary part many, many more in the Teapublican Party.
I think that's fair now to call it the "Teapublican Party"...it seems to evil forces have merged. The "war in women" has turned into a full scale assault.
A woman's right to choose is the law if our land, and there are laws that support it. Leave it alone. It's none of your business. If you love children so much do something about the ones who are here. Like the ones that have no healthcare and live in poverty.
Outlawing abortion will bring the coat hangers back. If you don't think so you are living in denial.

"Anchor Babies"
A terrible term, but it makes sense. I wonder how many people have asked themselves what they would do if they lived in Mexico. Terrible living conditions, a government beyond corrupt. It's understandable that they would want to come and bring their young family for a chance at a better life in the United States. It's understandable and illegal.
That didn't stop them. The United States government didn't stop them.
We needed and wanted cheap labor and people who would pick things, wash things, cut things, lift things and do everything we didn't want to do because the work was to hard, to dirty or paid to little.
Suddenly there will millions of them. And they tapped our resources and advanced themselves through hard work. Some did, not all, but many. And those babies they brought here, some born here, some not, went to school. Learned our language, studied and worked hard.
Enter Jan Brewer, Gov of Arizona, card carrying Tea Party member and seemingly not a very compassionate or smart person. She wants to deny these kids citizenship, and services based on some hateful ideology. Does it makes any sense to reject these kids that "America" has raised? Educated, and treated as our own? All they want is acceptance, a chance, a job and to contribute to our society and country.
I'm not for illegal immigration. If you have come across the border illegally you need to go home. We need to seal our borders and follow the law. But for the people who are here...they need our help and we should give it. People like Jan Brewer need to learn how to be better problem solvers and better people.

"Racism Alive And Well In The Church"
Does anyone want to try to explain to me why a Baptist church would refuse to marry a African American couple in MI? A black couple had never been married in the church's over 100 year history.
This is sad and disgusting behavior and not acceptable. WWJD? Not that I can assure you.

"More From Rinse Pubis"
Incredible, Reince Priebus aka Rinse Pubis, has called Harry Reid a "Dirty Liar"...not only is this untrue, but does Rinse still think he's on the playground? It's laughable if it wasn't so desperate. Rinse should be encouraging Romney to release the tax records! But if Romney does this he will be out.

"Unforgotten"
As in most Olympic Games we see the best athletes in the world. Each country sends off the young, fresh faced, physically almost perfect to compete for the title of gold medal winner.
Everything is grand, opening ceremonies, the drama of each sport, gold, silver and bronze medals, ending with a closing celebration that is always unforgettable.
Not all Olympiads have been wonderful. In 1972 at the Olympic Games in Munich, eleven Israeli athletes and coaches were murdered by Palestinian terrorists.
Clearly, the 1972 games saw the darkest moment the event has ever seen. One would think that at the start of every Olympiad there would be a moment of silence and the reading of the names of each victim that was murdered. Sadly this did not happen at the 2012 London games.
The solitary voice of NBC's, Bob Costas did his best to "carry the flag" for these lost athletes and coaches. International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Jacques Rogge refused to allow any remberence at all. He said, "it's not an atmosphere that is fit to remember such a tagic incidient."
Going into the "politics" of this decision is a waste of time, and politics was a factor. My suggestion is that a mandatory "memorial" is present at every Olympic Games during the opening cereonies. This would be policy and could not be "over ridden" by any (IOC) President for any reason.
This would be the right and honorable thing to do for the lost athletes and coaches, their families, friends as well as the world.
They were:
Moshe Weinberg (wrestling coach)
Yossef Romano (weight lifter)
Ze'ev Friedman (weight lifter)
David Berger (weight lifter)
Yakov Springer (weightlifiting judge)
Elizer Halfin (wrestler)
Yossef Gutfreund (wrestling referee)
Kehat Shorr (shooting coach)
Mark Slavin (wrestler)
Andre Spitzer (fencing coach)
Amitzur Shapira (track coach)
You are all not forgotten.

Mitt Romney supports "Tea Bagger"
Bachmann's anti Muslim rants. There can be only one conclusion. Mitt's a Bagger!

"Prove It"
Today, Harry Reid reveled that a Bain investor told him that Mitt Romney, "Didn't pay any taxes for 10 years."
That explains a lot. It explains why Mitt Romeny refuses to #release the returns. It explains why Mitt Romney has been hiding this information. If it's true, he's done. If it' true the GOP needs to find themselves another candidate. And hopefully not from the group that Romeny came from.
I'm sure this is not welcome news to Mr. and Mrs. Romney fresh back from their tour abroad in which they offended nearly everyone they met. Publicly.
If this is not true Mr. Romeny it's all real easy to clear up..."Prove It"!

"The Difference In Leadership"
President Obama went to Cairo, and told the Muslim world that America would always defend Israel. Mitt Romney went to Israel and told the Muslim world to F off.
